So, against my better judgement (and track record), I am taking another class this fall. Elementary Italian I, with my friend Jennifer. Hopefully this will go better than the creative writing class I took (and dropped) this summer, or the special-needs math class I took (and dropped) this winter. Seriously, I've been off-and-on attending Columbus State since 2004, and I have only completed 2 classes. Yep - that's 10 credit hours - count 'em.
Here's hoping attending with someone I know will keep from flaking out.

I miss my mom.
Eight years ago tonight, Rachel Sue Miller Newsome passed away at Southern Ohio Medical Center surrounded by her family. I still love her and miss her very much.

Friday Night Foolishness.
So, I was totally going to get up and blogging again, and then I had no idea where to start. A lot has happened since my last entry - do I catch you up? Do I just forge on? Do I need to go poop right this minute or do I wait until I'm done typing?
Brian and I are still together - YAY! He is currently off at Kent State getting his masters in Speech Pathology. We are rockin' the long distance thing, and I love him very much.
Lisa and I are still BeFri s. She is sitting next to me watching Season 2 of Torchwood while I type.
Jonathan and Mary (and Kristin, Dan, and Jessica) are downstairs working on the upcoming CSP Christmas show... well, everybody but Jessica. She's playing The Sims.
I've been very involved with CSP this past year and am currently on break. I directed Footloose in February, played Orin the Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors in May, and assistant direct Mame in August. I will be running sound for this year's Rocky Horror Show, and I will be an enthusiastic audience member for Broadway Christmas Carol. As for 2009... I am currently awaiting my assignment.
Still working at the library.
Had a fantastic vacation in June! I LOVE the Outer Banks!
... and those were the highlights. Will be giving fresh updates ASAP. Buh-bye.

Under Construction.
Hey. Lisa just celebrated 4 years of blogging. It made me come back here and read over my posts and remember a lot of stuff I had already forgotten, so I want to get back to it. Stay tuned.

Ask and ye shall receive.
So, sorry it's been a while, but there is a very good reason. You see, on November 30th, I ended my post with:
"Now if a boyfriend would just fall into my life, everything would be perfect."
Guess what happened?
Two days later I met a wonderful guy named Brian. We've been together ever since, and he's amazing and I'm so thankful.
So, let's see if this works:
Now, if a million dollars would just fall into my life, everything would be perfect.
